Kruger / Swazi / Kwa Zulu Natal - 8 Day Itinerary - Code: OL4
Day 1
On this our first day we start off with a tour of Soweto followed by a Pretoria city tour. Lunch will be on route depending. After our city tour we make our way to our hotel to check into our rooms. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 2
Departing from Pretoria (after breakfast) we will make our way through the Highveld region, dotted with coal mines and maize farms, towards the lowveld. At Dullstroom we will stop for lunch and there-after make our way to the Panorama Route. We stay over at Pelgrimsrest or Graskop (depending on availability). Dinner at our hotel.
Day 3
Departing from the hotel after breakfast we make our way down the Drakensberg Mountain Range to the Kruger National Park, having lunch at one of the camps in the Kruger park and staying over in one of the many camps that the park has to offer. Dinner will be at the camp restaurant.
Day 4
On our fourth day we depart from the Kruger Park and make our way across the border into Swaziland. We will lunch on route with some magnificent views at hand, before making our way down to Ngwena glass Factory. After the glass factory we make our way through the capital Mbobaan to the Swazi craft market and thereafter to the hotel and a hearty dinner.
Day 5
Departing from the hotel we visit the Swazi candle factory on route to the border and Hluhluwe. After check-in and a delicious lunch, we head out on a game drive in the Hluhlwe umfelozi game reserve, before coming back to the hotel for dinner.
Day 6
This morning we leave Hluhluwe and make our way down the N2 highway towards St Lucia. On route we stop over at Dini Zulu for a visit to a traditional zulu kraal and dancing before proceeding to St Lucia for lunch followed by a boat cruise. We check in at our hotel and have time at leisure before dinner.
Day 7 After breakfast we depart to Durban for a city tour ( drive past the harbor, city centre and a visit to the Indian market ) before lunch at the Ushaka Marine World. After lunch we check into our hotel. Dinner this evening will be at our hotel.
Day 8
On this final day we depart (after breakfast) for the airport / Johannesburg, stopping at several places to freshen up.
